Desk Setup 2025

I've never had a home office I've really been proud of. I just worked at desks or tables inside my home. Recently, I took some time to address that. The younger me would be so jealous of this space that I’ve curated for myself.
My Desk: I wanted my desk to be the foundation of my office. I found a deep desk that I can spread out on and that I can raise. It's exactly what I wanted and looks great in my office.
Apple Studio Display: The centerpiece of my desk is my Apple Studio Display. It is absolutely gorgeous, and the screen looks great. It's definitely the best monitor I've ever owned.
MacBook Air 15-inch (M3 chip): I got this computer not long after I got my iPad Pro. I still love my iPad Pro, but I need development tools; the iPad doesn’t support them. I went with the Air over the Pro because I don't do much graphics work, so the Air is plenty powerful for me. It also has incredible battery life.
nuphy Halo75 V2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard: I got a new keyboard! I wanted one with "thock" rather than "click" this time. I love this keyboard. It's so smooth to type on, and the sound is exactly what I was looking for. Plus, it looks so good.
Apple Magic Trackpad: My Apple Magic Trackpad is still going strong. Nothing is even close to stacking up to it.
j5create Laptop Stand: This is a solid stand that works well with my MacBook Air. I wanted to raise it more so it could match my Display’s height better.
iPad Pro: I reviewed my iPad Pro in a previous post. It's still just as awesome.
Apple Pencil Pro: This bad boy works great with my iPad Pro.
Twelve South HoverBar Duo Gen 1: I got this stand for my iPad Pro because I thought I was going to be writing exclusively on it and wanted something versatile, but turns out it's great for utilizing my iPad as a sort of third screen using Universal Control. It enables any angle I want while providing a sturdy base.
Satechi Aluminum Desktop Stand: I bought this stand just in case I didn't like the HoverBar, but I'm actually using this for my phone. It looks nice and is well built.
LEGO® Technic™ 2022 Ford GT: The Ford GT is a my dream car, so when I saw this LEGO set, I had to have it. I had fun building it; it took me a week. I had it in my living room, but I knew I had to move it to my desk. I think it’s a great finishing touch.
I'm proud of what I made for myself, and I just wanted to share it. It helps me be creative and productive, and it really brings me joy to be in this space.
